A ceremony was held this morning (Friday) to transfer the Royal Golden Plaque of HM the King’s official title, the Royal Golden Plaque of the King’s horoscope and the Royal Seal of the State from the ubosot of the the Temple of the Emerald Buddha to Baisal Daksin Throne Hall in the Grand Palace.

The transfer ceremony was presided over by the Lord Chamberlain, Air Chief Marshal Sathitpong Sukwimon.

The Royal Golden Plaque of HM the King’s official title, the Royal Golden Plaque of HM the King’s horoscope and the Royal Seal of the State will be presented to the King during the Coronation Ceremony on Saturday.

At 4 pm today, Their Majesties the King and Queen and members of the Royal Family proceeded to the Temple of the Emerald Buddha to pay homage to the Emerald Buddha, the Triple Gem and the relics of Thailand’s former kings and queens.

From 4.19 pm until 6 pm, monks chanted prayers at Baisal Daksin Throne Hall, Amarin Winitchai Throne Hall and Chakrapat Phiman Throne Hall.
