Protesters begin gathering again in Bangkok
Anti-government protesters have started gathering at three locations in Bangkok in defiance of the state of emergency.
The protesters, mostly young people, are converging at Lat Phrao intersection on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Wongwian Yai on the Thon Buri side of the capital, and Sukhumvit Soi 103 near the Udom Suk station of BTS Skytrain Skytrain.
There were no signs of security forces as the sizes of the crowds at the three locations continued to swell.
The rallies followed messages posted on the social media by the so-called United Front of Thammasat and Demonstration which is one of the political activist groups behind the series of the anti-government demonstrations in the past few months.
