Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn was admitted to Chulalongkorn Hospital today after she developed a fever and experienced some abdominal pain, the Bureau of the Royal Household said today in its statement.

After examination, doctors found that she is suffering with an intestinal infection and they administered medication to treat the ailment.

The Princess was advised by doctors to suspend her Royal activities temporarily during treatment, according to the statement.
