Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s now in a stable condition

Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati is now in a stable condition, with her heartbeat being controlled with medication, the Bureau of the Royal Household said in a statement issued on Monday morning.

Examination found that the heart is not functioning fully normally, but a coronary angiogram did not reveal any abnormality. Doctors have administered medication and are using equipment to support the functions of the heart, kidneysand lungs.

Doctors continue to monitor the Princess’s condition closely, according to the statement.

The Princess fell unconscious with heart-related symptoms last Wednesday, as she was training her pet dogs at an army dog training camp in Pak Chong district of Nakhon Ratchasima, prior to participation in the Thailand Working Dog Championship 2022. She was rushed to Pak Chong Nana Hospital for first aid treatment and then airlifted to King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Bangkok.
