Poor air quality reported in 12 districts of Bangkok on Thursday

Air quality in some areas of 12 of Bangkok’s 50 districts today (Thursday) is below standard, with the amount of PM2.5 dust exceeding 50 microns, according to the “air4thai” website of the Department of Pollution Control.

The amount of PM2.5 ranges from 52-62 microns, which isconsidered to be a threat to the health of those living there.

These areas include:

-Rama IV Road in Pathumwan district

-Khlong Sam Wa district

-Charan Sanitwong Road in Bang Phlat district

-Traimit Road in Samphanthawong district

-Rama IV Road in front of Samyan Mitrtown in Pathumwan district

-Rama III Road in Yan Nawa district

-Lat Krabang Road in Lat Krabang district

-Srinagarind Road in Prawet district

-Phutthamonthon 1 Road in Taling Chan district

-Khlong Thawee Wattana Road in Thawee Wattana district

-Ma Charoen Road and Phet Kasem 81 in Nong Kham district

-Bang Sue sub-district in Bang Sue district.

Air quality in Bangkok and its peripherals normally deteriorates during the cold season due to poor air circulation.
