Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra’s private Bombardier Global 7500 jet, tail number T7-GTS, landed at Seletar private airport in Singapore this morning, but it is known whether Thaksin was on board, according to well-informed sources.
The aircraft reportedly left the Dubai World Central International Airport at 7.16pm local time on Sunday (10.16pm Thai time). It took the plane eight hours and 39 minutes to travel to Singapore’s private airport, landing at 7.55am local time today.
Tomorrow, the Supreme Court’s Criminal Division for Holders of Political Office is scheduled to deliver its decision in the case, dubbed “14th Floor of the Police General Hospital (PGH)” case, in which Thaksin is accused of avoiding serving time in prison by claiming life-threatening illnesses, which required him to be admitted to the PGH for treatment for six months without spending a day behind bars.
