Finance Minister Ekniti Nitithanprapas said today that he will launch a personal Facebook page to explain the government's economic policies in greater depth.
Ekniti said that the page, "Dr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas," is intended to serve as a platform through which he can provide more detailed explanations and present a broader picture of the economy.
"I hope it will become a channel of communication between the public and me, allowing me to explain issues in greater depth so that people can better understand the overall economic situation," he said.
He invited the public to visit the page, saying that he plans to respond to comments personally.
Ekniti added that he welcomes both positive and negative feedback, saying he has always been willing to listen to differing opinions.
He also said that he had spent much of the previous night drafting posts himself in preparation for the page's launch.
