A former senator has asked the national anti-corruption watchdog to investigate an allegation that an outspoken People’s Party MP failed to include in her assets declaration a bicycle she used during her election campaign.
Ruangkrai Leekitwattana said he has submitted a formal request asking the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) to probe the assets of MP Rukchanok Srinork, after discovering that she did not list her black Elops 100 low-frame city bicycle, widely used during her 2023 general election campaign, in her mandated assets declaration.
Rukchanok was frequently seen riding the bicycle during campaign visits, and her campaign posters also featured her with it.
In addition, Ruangkrai said he asked the NACC to investigate the source of Rukchanok’s political donation of 203,000 baht to her party.
His review of the EC’s latest disclosure shows that the People’s Party reported 50 individual donors contributing more than 5,000 baht each, totalling Bt1,049,800 baht for the month.
Rukchanok made two separate donations totalling 203,000 baht, accounting for 19.34% of the People’s Party’s total donations for September 2025—significantly higher than most other contributors, Ruangkrai said.
This unusually large donation warrants scrutiny when compared to the assets Rukchanok declared upon taking office on July 4, 2023, which included 5.84 million baht in assets and 1.81 million baht in liabilities.
