Bhumjaithai party has accepted the Palang Pracharat party’s invitation to join their coalition, but with four pre-conditions, party leader Anutin Charnvirakul told the media today.
Palang Pracharat party leader Uttama Savanayana, party secretary-general Sontirat Sontijirawong and other party core members paid a visit to the Bhumjaithai party head office today to extend the invitation.
Anutin said the party would join Palang Pracharat’s coalition on the condition that its four demands are accepted.
“For Bhumjaithai party, we are ready to work with whoever agrees to our four demands. We never lie to the people, never think of lying to the people. You can check the audio clips, you will see we never do the things we do not talk about,” said Anutin.
The party’s four demands are:
• Upholding the Monarchy
• The government must not engage in conflict with the people
• The government must be stable and have majority support in the House
• The party’s policies must be accepted
The Bhumjaithai party leader disclosed that today they discussed each party’s terms regarding the formation of the government, after which each side must consult with its executive committee.
Both the Bhumjaithai and the Democrat parties are crucial for the success of the Palang Pracharat party’s bid to form a coalition government.
