Police to use a submersible in search for missing baby in Nakhon Pathom

Nakhon Pathom provincial police will deploy a submersible drone to search all waterways close to the home of an 8-month-old baby in Bang Len district. The child has beenmissing for two weeks.

The baby’s mother, Nim, told the media at their home that she learned that the police will deploy the submersible in the Tha Chin River, the Thor Canal and a fish pond belonging to her father.

She explained that the police will search her father’s fish pond because she regularly took her baby to see her father after accompanying her husband to work at a factory.

She also said that tests on DNA from her baby indicate that there is a match with that of his uncle.

The father of the missing baby, Pud, said that he was not worried about taking a polygraph (lie detector) test two days ago in Pathum Thani, adding that he was also questioned for about 11 hours.

He also said that he had not been contacted by the police about any additional information they would like to obtain from him.

The couple have been questioned by the police on several occasions, each time lasting several hours, because they suspect that the couple might be responsible for the disappearance of their baby.
