Phu Kradueng National Park to reopen next month

Phu Kradueng National Park, one of Thailand’s famous natural gems, will be ready to welcome visitors again next month, following a four-month seasonal closure.

The annual closure of Phu Kradueng happens during the rainy season, to allow the natural environment to rejuvenate and reduce the risk of accidents.

The park will reopen on October 1, and people are encouraged to register via the QueQ application, which enables up to 60-day advance bookings.

Those who wish to camp in the park can book a bungalow or tent by calling 042-810834 or visiting https://nps.dnp.go.th/reservation.php.

According to the park’s website, Phu Kradueng is located in in Phu Kradueng district of Loei province and is popular for its long trails, the cold winter months, a number of waterfalls and viewpoints.

Unlike most other major national parks in the country, Phu Kradueng National Park is accessible by public transport from all nearby provinces and Bangkok.
