Northern provinces to experience cold weather, temperature dropping 3-5 degrees Celsius 

Mercury in the northern region will drop between 3-5 degrees Celsius tomorrow until Friday whereas the southern region will face more rain and isolated heavy rain in some areas.

The Meteorological Department said today that another strong cold front from China was about to cover the upper part of Thailand during October 30-November 2 and this would  cause the temperature to drop between 3-5 degrees Celsius during the period.

Meanwhile, the northeastern monsoon which is looming over the Gulf and the southern region will strengthen during the same period and this will bring more rain to the region with isolated heavy rain in some areas.

The wind in the Gulf and the Andaman sea will be moderate with waves in the Gulf averaging two metres high and up to three metres high during storm as the Weatherman advises sailors and fishermen to exercise caution when venturing out to sea.

Bangkok is partly cloudy today until tomorrow morning with possibility of rain covering ten percent of the area.  Minimum temperatures range from 25-26 degrees Celsius and maximum temperatures 33-35 degrees Celsius.
