Sixteen-year-old Wanya Wanphong or Nong Milk, won the overall Drone Racing – first person view (FPV) championship, held at the Bukit Jalil Stadium in Malaysia today.

It is her second championship win after recently winning in South Korea as well. In the final round of the competition, Wanya faced two rivals, one from Malaysia and one from Thailand, 30-year-old Atithep Lertkrisdakul.

She used her superb skills to beat all three of them by clocking the fastest time in two races. The runner-up was the Malaysian and Atithep came third.

Her next championship competition will be in Taiwan from December 5 to 8.

FTV racing is a drone competition in which the pilots on the ground fly the drones while wearing a headset, which allows them a view as if they were seated in the drones.
