The Stock Exchange of Thailand suspended trading at 2.17pm after Bangkok was hit by a strong earthquake.
All staff were evacuated from the buildings, and all use of the buildings was suspended.
For safety reasons, engineers will inspect the buildings to determine whether they were damaged by the quake.
