In pictures: Their Majesties state visit to China

(November 14, 2025) Beijing - President Xi Jinping and First Lady Peng Liyuan welcome their Majesties the King and Queen of Thailand at the Great Hall of the People, on their official state visit to the People’s Republic of China. Their Majesties the King and Queen arrived in China on November 13, for a state visit to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and China, at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping. Their Majesties arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport at 4.30pm, where they were received by Chatri Viriyavejakul, Ambassador of Thailand to Beijing, Hong Lei, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director-General of the Protocol Department, and Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, together with other senior officials.
