“From the heart of the city, to the hearts at the front line”. The colours of the Thai national flag are on display on buildings, bridges, shopping centres and LED signs in Bangkok this week, as a gesture of solidarity and support for the military at the front line.
Despite the ceasefire agreement between Thailand and Cambodia, reports indicate that harassing fire continued into the early hours of July 30. Colonel Richa Suksuvanon, deputy army spokesman, claimed that Cambodian forces continued firing in the Phu Makua area between 4.15am and 5.25am on Wednesday.
