More than 1.13 million people, both Thais and foreigners, celebrated the water-splashing Songkran festival in Bangkok. The Maha Songkran World Water Festival at Sanam Luang, held from April 11th to the 15th, alone has generated income of 4 billion baht, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has revealed on Friday.
