Bangkok’s Ratchadamnoen Avenue and nearby locations, such as the Democracy Monument and in front of the Rattanakosin Hotel, have been decorated with yellow flowers and orchids to celebrate the birthdays of His Majesty the King on July 28th and Her Majesty the Queen Mother on August 12th. These floral tributes have been organised by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.
