Another 34 Thai nationals, mostly workers, arrived at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi international airport from Turkey this morning, to be followed by 30 more tomorrow.
Accompanied by Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, deputy director-general of the Department of Consular Affairs, who travelled to the Turkish capital of Ankara to help in the arrangements for the evacuation of Thais from Iran, they were greeted at the airport by Worapannee Damrongmanee, another deputy director-general of the department.
The first 62 Thais arrived safely in Turkey from Iran last Saturday. All of them flew back to Thailand earlier this week.
