Motorists are advised to avoid three roads, which are closed to all traffic as part of heightened security during the joint sitting of parliament to select Thailand’s next prime minister.

The roads are:

• Samsen Road, from Bang Krabue intersection to the entrance to Boon Rawd Brewery
• Pracharat Road 1, from Kiak Kai intersection to Bang Po intersection
• Taharn Road, from Kiak Kai intersection to Saphan Daeng intersection

To avoid the affected roads, motorists are advised to use:

• Samsen Road, turning right at Bang Krabue intersection
• Amnuay Songkhram Road, turning left at Kesa Komon intersection
• Rama V Road, Techavanich Road, turning left at Saphan Sung Bridge
• Pracharat Road 2 at Bang Po intersection

More traffic police have been deployed to facilitate traffic flow.
