Miss Grand Myanmar 2020, Thaw Nandar Aung, aka Han Lay, has indicated that she may have to spend more time in Thailand, before returning to her home country, as the result of a speech she gave on stage at the recent Miss Grand International 2020 pageant in Bangkok.

On Saturday night, she took the stage to speak about the worsening situation in Myanmar, where many people lost their lives fighting for democracy in their country.

On stage, she also sang the song “Heal the World” in tears, drawing thunderous applause from the audience.
