Manchester U beat Liverpool 4-0 during historic match in Bangkok

Football fans flocked to Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) to watch a historic football match between Manchester United and Liverpool.

The fans were seen wearing the red shirts of the two English Premier League teams and waving flags and scarves insupport of their favourite team.

“The Match Bangkok Century 2022” was preceded by a concert given by famous Chinese singer, Jackson Wang, with female Thai rapper Danupha “Milli” Khanatheerakul making a special appearance and performing with him on stage. The actual match kicked off at 8pm.

Ultimately, Manchester United prevailed 4-0, with goals scored by Jadon Sancho, Fred, Anthony Martial and Facundo Pellistri.

Meanwhile, fans were outraged when AISPlay, the only streaming platform on which fans could watch the football match, suddenly crashed before the game had even started, top trending #AISPlay on Thai Twitter since last night.

AIS apologised for the inconvenience and said that the failure had been caused by the large number of customers accessing the app. They providing an alternative link. This did not, however, please fans as they demanded that AIS fix the app so that they could enjoy watching the rest of the game.
