Khao Yai National Park officials are looking for a man who was caught on video attempting to hit golf balls across Saisorn Reservoir in Nakhon Nayok’s Muang district.

The area around the reservoir is popular with tourists, due to its beautiful natural scenery and natural walking trails.

The video, recorded by another tourist, went viral on social media. The man is seen hitting golf balls from one side of the reservoir to the other, posing a danger to other people.

Initial examination of the clip revealed the license plate of the golfer’s vehicle and he will be contacted, said Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation’s acting director general Attapol Charoenchansa.

That man could be fined up to Bt100,000 for littering and up to Bt5,000 for causing trouble, the director said, adding he would also be blacklisted.
