Loei closes schools and lottery market after finding more COVID-19 cases

Loei province has ordered all schools and a lottery market to close for 14 days after a family tested positive for COVID-19.

One case in the province is a 78 years old woman and a mother of another case of Loei. 

Another is a related 13-year-old 7th-grader, who usually went with his mother to sell lottery tickets. He also visited Phu Reu, a tourist spot in the province.

The other case is a related 6-year-old kindergartener, who also went with her mother to sell lottery tickets.

The province stated that there are a total of 35 high-risk people waiting for test results. These new infections were discovered as a result of proactive screening of over 1,200 people, especially among lottery vendors in the province.
