His Majesty the King of Thailand has urged his subjects to preserve Thai culture, to understand the value of merit and to live righteously, based on reasoning and truth.
In his New Year message to the Thai people, HM the King said that Thai people have a culture, which is evident in their traditions, rituals, languages, arts, wisdom and behaviour, connecting Thai people, no matter where they are.
He expressed good wishes to the Thai people and hopes that, with everyone’s cooperation, Thailand will overcome the current crises, posed by diseases and illnesses, and advance toward stability, prosperity and happiness for the people.
Their Majesties the King and Queen also presented a New Year greeting card to the Thai people.
The card features a photo of the Royal couple, in traditional attire, taken on the occasion of the King’s Coronation last year.
