King and Queen of Thailand visit Princess Bajrakitiyabha in hospital

Their Majesties the King and Queen paid a visit to HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital this afternoon (Friday).

The Princess is in hospital after she fell unconscious, suffering heart-related symptoms on Wednesday, as she was training her pet dogs to compete in the Thailand Working Dog Championship 2022 at an army dog training camp in Pak Chong district of Nakhon Ratchasima. She was initially rushed to Pak Chong Nana Hospital for first aid treatment, before being airlifted to Bangkok for admission to King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital.

Many government officials and members of the public were at the hospital to welcome Their Majesties the King and Queen.

Meanwhile, the Bureau of the Royal Household has granted permission for members of the public to express their wishes for a rapid recovery by the Princess online via www.royaloffice.th and https://wellwishes.royaloffice.th/ from today.

The Thai Red Cross also arranged similar books at the Bhumisiri Mangkhalanusorn Building at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital.

All Thai Buddhist temples around the world have been instructed by His Holiness the Supreme Patriarch to hold a special prayer session every day to wish the Princess well.
