Embassy of Spain has unveiled an exciting lineup of cultural activities for 2023, which begins in Bangkok with “Sant Jordi/International Book Day” on April 23rd, to celebrate Sant Jordi in Catalonia

The event aims to encourage reading by both children and adults and features Spanish-speaking Thai authors translated into various languages, as well as international authors.

Independent bookstores and publishers from Spain and Thailand will be offering new and second-hand books for sale. Additionally, the event will raise awareness of several charitable activities carried out by volunteers and NGOs, such as “HOPE BANGKOK” and “SOMOS UNO”, among others. There will be readings of children’s books and talks by various writers and artists.
