Despite their daughters are able to speak and hear, Phetcharat and her husband were born deaf, so sign language became the main communication tool for the Borisutbuathip family.

This is not a drawback, because both parents are able to communicate and advise both of their daughters on how to take care of themselves during the pandemic.

Before they can communicate with their children, however, they have to understand what’s going on in the world with COVID-19, and there are some limitations on the availability of information for the hearing-impaired population.
