Home isolation volunteers hope to help the country survive the COVID-19 crisis

Thailand has begun to place asymptomatic COVID-19 patients in home isolation, to free up hospital beds for those in more need, as the country struggles to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

In the past 3 months, civil society also launched the Home and Community Isolation programs, in an effort led by the Human Settlement Foundation.

The Home and Community Isolation programs, launched by citizens, are funded by the National Health Security Office. The budget will cover both health products and food for 14 days, but there are still limitations.
