An English teacher and TV presenter from Oxford, England, Roseanna Marshman, said that her interest in Thailand and Asian countries developed when she was young, as her mum was a host mother, meaning that her home always welcomed lots of foreign students, including Japanese, Chinese and Thai. Basically, she grew up with Asian people and that was why she chose a Thai and Asian Studies undergraduate course. Today, her Thai skills make her life a lot easier.

Originally, Rosie didn’t expect to stay in Thailand for more than a year, she has just gone with the flow and welcomed the opportunities life has to offer, and it has been an amazing eight years so far. Rosie also has an observation on the Thai stereotype, which is quite different from what some other foreigners might think.
