Government House increases anti-virus measures

Workers fumigated the Government House and its compound today, as part of escalated preventive measures in the wake of rising concerns over the spread of COVID-19.

Sanitizer gel has been placed at all access points and visitors, including officials and members of the media, will be required to wash their hands every time they enter or exit Government House.

All buildings will be cleansed once a week, especially the entrance hall, the conference rooms, the guest room and the canteen.

Daily, after office hours, workers will spray disinfectant in areas exposed to the greatest levels of hand contact, such as door handles, hand rails, sanitary ware and doors.

If a function is held at the Santi Maitri building, the organizers must scan the body temperatures of all visitors and attach a sticker to them, indicating that they have been scanned, and hand sanitizers must be made available to the visitors.

As for official cars at Government House, the interiors must be disinfected and the chauffeurs must sanitize their hands and wear face masks.
