Bangkok’s Sanam Luang has welcomed “COMPANION”, a gigantic sculpture by world-renowned artist Brian Donnelly, better known as ‘KAWS’. The piece is now on display until May 25th.
At a towering 18 metres, set against the regal backdrop of the Grand Palace, the figure is seen seated on top of a globe, while gently cradling the moon.
This public installation, titled the “KAWS: HOLIDAY” series, marks the latest stop in the artist’s global tours, following previous showings in 12 countries, including Japan and Indonesia.
