Teams of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) cleaners were deployed this morning to Sanam Luang, the royal ceremonial ground in Bangkok, where the “Maha Songkran World Water Festival 2025” had been held over the past five days.
More than 50 staff were seen at the site at 9am, clearing the grounds of powder residue and garbage. To remove powder stains, staff had to use brooms and high-pressure water sprays. Cleaning landmarks after Songkran is something Thai officials aim at accomplishing thoroughly, to restore the venues to prime condition.
