Last night Thais flocked to Yaowarat Road, in Bangkok’s Chinatown, after the location featured in the music video for Lisa’s (from ‘BLACKPINK’) new solo release “ROCKSTAR”.
Some of the fans told Thai PBS reporters that they are proud of the artist, while believing that more tourists will visit Yaowarat because of the music video, despite already being a famous destination.
Meanwhile, shop owners in the area revealed that they were not aware that Lisa was the artist that came to film that night, but thanked her for helping to promote iconic district through her music.
“ROCKSTAR” logged one million views in the first 27 minutes of its release.
At the time of this report, it has been watched by over 32 million people worldwide.
