Thailand has recorded five new COVID-19 cases today, including four Thais and one foreigner, who are all in quarantine, according to CCSA.

One is a 30-year old student returning from Sweden and isolated in state quarantine in Chon Buri province. Another is a 45-year old welder returning from Iran and in state quarantine in Bangkok. The third is a 58-year old businessman returning from Kenya and in state quarantine in Chon Buri. The fourth is a 65-year old woman returning from Switzerland who is isolated in hotel based quarantine in Samut Prakan province.

The fifth infection is a 70-year old German arriving from Germany, who is isolated in hotel quarantine in Bangkok.

Cumulative infections in Thailand, to date, are 3,852.  Eight new recoveries were recorded today, bringing the total to 3,693. 99 others are still being treated in hospitals and the death toll remains at 60.

Globally, cumulative infections, to date, are 52,432,183, with 95,071 severe cases.  The death toll is 1,289,529.
