All of Bangkok’s 50 districts are suffering high levels of PM2.5 dust in the air, with the average being 46.8 µg/m³, which exceed the 37.5 µg/m³ safety level, according to the Air Quality Information Centre of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.
The five most polluted districts are:
1. Nong Khaem, 56.9 µg/m³
2. Phasi Charoen, 56.4 µg/m³
3. Thon Buri, 54.1 micron
4. Lat Krabang, 53.7 µg/m³
5. Phra Khanong, 53.4 µg/m³
The centre predicts that air pollution in the capital will continue to deteriorate, due to poor air circulation.
The situation is, however, expected to improve next weekend due to improved air circulation.
