After the first batch of COVID-19 vaccines from China’s Sinovac arrived in Thailand, people in nine provinces with the highest infection rates will get inoculated first.

The nine provinces are Samut Sakhon, Bangkok, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi, Samut Prakan, Mae Sot district of Tak, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram, and Ratchaburi.

The vaccines will be administered to frontline medical personnel, officials in close contact with infected patients, those with congenital disease, and some for the general public and labour workers
