Climate change, air pollution and marine debris are the major concerns in environmental cooperation between China, Japan and South Korea over the next five years.

At the 21^st Tripartite Environment Ministers Meeting in Fukuoka, Japan, the ministers agreed to tackle eight issues of regional environmental problems.

“It is highly meaningful that China, as a big country, obviously indicated it will take positive action on this front,” said Shinjiro Koizumi, Minister of the Environment of Japan.
