The BTS skytrain system is to extend its operating hours to 10.30pm from Sunday night, to conform to the 11pm to 4am revised curfew.

BTS managing director Mr. Surapong Laoha-anya said today the extended hours will be applied to all skytrain routes and stations until further notice.

Despite the improving situation, he said that BTS still strictly observes safety measures, which include the cleansing of carriages, contact points and station grounds with disinfectant, requiring all passengers to undergo temperature screening, with anyone over 37.5^o being prevented from boarding.

Mr. Surapong advised commuters to allow additional travel time and to wear face masks at all times while on the BTS system.
