Pol Col Wachira Yaothaisong, a superintendent at the Highway Police Division and the immediate superior to Pol Maj Sivakorn Saibua, who was shot dead in Nakhon Pathom last week , shot himself at his residence in Pathum Thani province this afternoon (Monday).

He is one of the 25 police officers, who were at the house of Praween Chanklai, aka “Kamnan Nok” in Nakhon Pathom province last Wednesday night and who are under investigation following the murder of Sivakorn.

Initial reports say that Pol Col Wachira with his service pistol. He was among a group of police officers who had rushed Sivakorn to a hospital in Nakhon Pathom after the shooting.
