Malaysia is ranked as the world’s 8th largest dumper of garbage into the sea.  Several academics have blamed the marine waste pollution crisis on the abject indifference to the problem displayed by certain groups of people.

The Thai PBS team visited an island, which is not far from Kuala Lumpur, to show the extent of the marine waste problem.
