Arrest warrants issued for nine suspects in Pathumwan college student’s murder

The Criminal Court has issued warrants for the arrests of nine suspects wanted by the police for alleged involvement in the murder of a student from the Pathumwan Institute of Technology in front of his college on Friday night.

Police did not, however, disclose the names of the suspects, believed to be former students of the Uthenthawai college.

The victim, identified as “Waravut”, was stabbed and died shortly after arriving at Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital.

Pol Maj-Gen Samart Promchart, commander of the 6th division of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, said today that police are currently trying to locate the nine suspects.

The Uthenthawai college is closed until Tuesday and all students are banned from entering the campus as a safety precaution.
