Advance booking for visits to Thailand’s 14 national marine parks now open

The Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation has opened advance booking, from today (Monday) through the “QueQ” application, for visits to its 14 national marine parks.

Tourists can choose the marine parks and the dates and exact timing of their visit, to prevent overcrowding, to protect the environment of the parks.

When tourists log into application on their smart phones, the names of all 14 parks are listed in separate windows so they can make their choice. No overnight stays are allowed.

Visitors will receive tickets via the same application, to be shown to their tour or boat operators when they purchase tickets for the journey.

The marine parks, in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Krabi, Phang-nga, Phuket, Trang and Satun, are:

  • Sirinat
  • Khao Lak-Lam Ru
  • Surin islands
  • Similan islands
  • Khao Lampi-Hat Thai Mueang
  • Hat Khanom and ThaleTai islands (being prepared)
  • Hat Chao Mai
  • Ao Phang-nga
  • Than Bokkoranee
  • Thale Ban
  • Phetra islands
  • Lanta islands
  • Tarutao and
  • Hat Nopparat Thara-Phi Phi islands
