2nd day of vaccinations in Bangkok’s Bang Khae district focuses on vendors and workers

Bangkok’s Health department is on the 2nd day of the inoculation program in Bang Khae district, focusing on vendors and workers in the Wonder market.

There will be 1,000 doses of Sinovac vaccines available today, at an inoculation site in a nearby market.

Yesterday, 744 people registered for inoculation. By the end of the day, 705 had been vaccinated, 2 of whom experience mild nausea after injection, but were able to go home after observation.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration reported that about 60% of the people vaccinated yesterday were migrant workers, while there were 39 people who couldn’t be vaccinated due to high blood pressure.

The vaccine allocated to the Bang Khae district was approved rapidly, after hundreds related to 6 fresh markets in the district were found to be infected. 6,000 doses have been prepared, and the plan is to administer 1,000 doses per day
