132 more Thais arrive in Bangkok from Sudan Saturday night

The second group of 132 Thais to be evacuated from Sudan are due to arrive at Bangkok’s military airport at about 10pm tonight (Saturday), on a Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) Airbus 340-500.

In addition to the 73 Thai men and 62 Thai women, there are two Chinese nationals and one Indonesian on the same flight from Saudi Arabia.
They will be received at the airport by Air Force Commander-in-Chief ACM Alongkorn Wannarat.
Two RTAF C130 transport planes remain on standby at King Abdulaziz airport in Jeddah and one of them will bring the remaining five Thais in Sudan back to Thailand on May 1st.
On Thursday, 78 Thais were flown back to Thailand from Saudi Arabia by the RTAF.
